Mission On My Mind...

we're less than two months away from our departure
for the greatest adventure our family has yet experienced.

we have been invited to korea ~ i will be teaching seminary
students at kosin university and deb will be teaching english
at the nearby maritime university.

here's a few of our FAQ's
* fundraising - we need to raise 20-25k for our part of this mission-year

* dates - we leave on july 8 for five weeks of prep as a family
- by mid-august we will be in busan, korea
- after two semesters we plan to return to alameda (june 2010)

* leadership - pastor dan hutt will be stepping into my role after we leave, and when i return we will be co-pastoring in alameda. we will be pursuing bi-vocational ministry work here which will enable us to grow grow our staff and expand the vision for a community based multi-site church.

* teaching - i will be teaching students from 12 countries and six continents how to impact their home communities with the gospel!
